Phillip Beswick, has 30 years experience in media research, sales and sales management. His research experience includes a stint as TV research director for the largest TV broadcaster in Canada, Baton Broadcasting. Subsequently he took on responsibilities in national sales, serving some of Canada's largest ad agencies in Toronto. After 3 years managing sales for an Ottawa radio station he opened Birch Radio's Canadian operation.
Eventually Phillip left Toronto for New York as Senior VP group sales for Birch/ Scarborough Research and helped build the company into a major radio ratings and qualitative research company. In 1993, he joined The Media Audit as EVP with local market and group sales responsibilities. Working with media from small local operators to the country's largest media companies, Phillip helps the media substantially increase their revenues by matching their strengths to the market needs.
Sandy Wickman began his career at International Demographics,
Inc. in 1983 with a focus towards expansion markets. Sandy was
responsible for opening the Memphis, Nashville, Orlando, Cleveland,
San Diego, San Francisco, San Jose, Portland, and Fresno markets.
Prior to working for International Demographics, Inc., Sandy worked
with IBM in the Office Products Division as a Territory Sales
Representative and also as a Regional Manager for National Family
In November of 2013, Sandy was elected as the company's Chairman of the Board.
Tracy Austin has worked in media research for 15 years. She started her career selling Arbitron & Scarborough to Agency and Advertiser clients in the North East. The bulk of her professional experience has since been with The Media Audit selling, servicing and training all types of media clients. Tracy's experience on both sides of the business have proven valuable in making her a key asset. She has grown our subscription base in multiple markets and opened new markets for the company over the past 10+ years, nearly doubling billing in a few short years. Tracy was promoted to a Vice President in 2013 and again to East Coast Regional VP in 2014. Tracy attended Syracuse University with a concentration in advertising and marketing.
Alice joined The Media Audit in a sales capacity in 1997 as Midwest Market Manager, and later as Northeast Market Manager. In 2003, her passion for excellence in customer service led her to make the shift to heading up the efforts of The Media Audit's Client Services team. Prior to her years in sales with The Media Audit, Alice's experience included positions in Radio/TV sales, Radio sales management, and as a media director for an ad agency...all of which made her uniquely qualified to understand our customers' needs on how best to use The Media Audit data to develop presentations that dazzle and sell.
